Mira Connect Version 1.24.0 Release Notes

The Mira Connect 1.24.0 release adds several new features and improvements, including:

New Features

  • Added support for saving and restoring camera presets for VISCA-compatible cameras. Camera presets are saved in Mira Connect and can be created and named using Mira Portal. Presets are recalled with the user interface on Mira Connect as shown here. See our camera presets article to get started. Camera Presets user interface

  • Added VISCA camera speed controls to allow designers to adjust the pan, tilt, and zoom speed for slow speed movements when tapping the positioning control and fast speed movement when holding down the positioning control.

  • Added a Mira Portal option for reversing the left/right pan controls on VISCA cameras and USB cameras used with Zoom Room systems. Change the setting from the Camera Configuration tab of the VISCA camera equipment page.

  • Added driver support of AVPro Edge’s AC-MX video switcher family. See the AVPro Edge integration guide for more details.

  • Added driver support of Sony BRAVIA professional displays. See the Sony BRAVIA integration guide for more information.

  • Added drivers for ATEN’s family of video switcher. See the ATEN video switcher integration guide.

  • Added ability for Mira Portal users with administrative or technical permissions on the room to remotely restart Mira Connect using Mira Portal.

Restarting Mira Connect

Improvements

  • Added support for Zoom’s latest Zoom Room CS-API bug fixes for updating participant presence in the Zoom directory.

  • When adding equipment to a room, the link to the equipment’s integration guide is now visible on all tabs of the equipment dialog.

  • Fixed an issue using Biamp TesiraFORTÉ instance tags that included spaces.
