Aveo Systems’ Mira Connect Supports Zoom Rooms

Mira Connect touch panel and smart control appliance now brings Zoom Rooms control and room equipment control to users of Zoom Rooms software-defined video codecs.
Marietta, GA, USA – Aveo Systems has announced support of the popular Zoom Rooms platform via Mira Connect, its smart control appliance.
Zoom Rooms software transforms an off-the-shelf computer into a powerful video and audio conferencing codec, replacing dedicated hardware-based video codecs. Mira Connect controls the Zoom Rooms codec and manages all the other equipment in the room including cameras, microphones, displays, video switchers, DSP audio products, and more.
Using Aveo Systems’ Mira Portal cloud-based platform, Mira Connect can be set up in minutes by simply selecting the equipment and enabling the desired features. The customized user interface is automatically generated for each Mira Connect in the facility. Even when different products are used in each room, Mira Connect provides a similar user experience from room to room. Users can easily launch calls, manage camera sources and content sharing, control volume, and seamlessly manage other products in the room — all through Mira Connect.

Mira Connect extends the Zoom Rooms interface that existing Zoom Rooms users are familiar with, enabling easy use and immediate productivity for users.
Additional device controls appear on Mira Connect with intuitive icons that make it easy for Zoom Room users to control the other equipment in the room as well.
Organizations can easily customize their Mira Connect touchscreen with their company logo, preferred background image, and color scheme.
End users greatly value Mira Connect’s remote management capability. Through secure remote access to Mira Portal, the organization’s IT and support personnel are able to provide rapid assistance and remote management from anywhere.
